Travelling is not a privilege but a right for everyone. Yet, for those who use a wheelchair or live with a disability, finding accommodation or, even more so, a vehicle that is truly tailored to their needs is still an enormous challenge today. Atlantis has taken on this challenge and turned it into a concrete project: the Deluxe 695 Mobility+. A motorhome built from scratch for people with reduced mobility, designed around those who live in it and conceived to restore full freedom and independence.
This is not about adapting a standard motorhome: every centimetre has been studied around the wheelchair, the person, the journey.

The design

The most important difference you can notice in the Mobility+ is not a single accessory: it is the philosophy with which it was built.

The interior layout, the movement paths, the height of the work surfaces and the position of every element have been defined with a single objective: to allow wheelchair users to move freely and, above all, in complete independence, without needing to ask anyone for help.

it is designed for you.

The features of this vehicle:

The first moment of the journey is getting on board. For wheelchair users, this action can be the most difficult, or the most simple, if the motorhome provides the right solutions.The Mobility+ is equipped with a dedicated electro-hydraulic underframe lift that is activated via remote control without the need for external assistance. The entrance door has larger dimensions, designed for easy passage of the wheelchair without forced manoeuvres. The floor has been reinforced with a layer of honeycomb aluminium that provides the necessary solidity to bear the weight, without sagging and without risks.
A detail that may seem technical, but that makes all the difference in the daily journey: getting on and off independently, whenever you want.Once on board, the Mobility+ offers everything you need to feel at home, truly at home. The dinette features a fold-away table that frees up manoeuvring space when not in use, allowing the wheelchair to move freely in the living area without obstacles; for example, the on-board control units are accessible even from the wheelchair.
For driving, steering wheel controls are provided, thus allowing full independence during the journey.

The electrically operated orthopaedic bed allows the position to be adjusted to enable getting on and off independently and safely.The bathroom is often the most critical point for people with reduced mobility. In the Mobility+, this space has also been redesigned from scratch:The shower tray is flush with the floor, with no steps or thresholds to overcome: the wheelchair can enter directly into the shower area.The raised WC is custom-designed based on the specific needs of the user, with dimensions and positioning according to their specifications.The washbasin is shaped for comfortable access from the wheelchair, while handles and supports are distributed at strategic points to provide independence and safety of movement.The Mobility+ bathroom is not just “accessible”: it is comfortable, because travelling well also means being able to take care of yourself without difficulty.The motorhome’s configuration is completed by hydraulic stabilising legs that level the vehicle ensuring perfect horizontality, fundamental for the stability of the wheelchair. In addition, the electric awning allows independent and comfortable use of the outdoor space without the need for an awning pole. Finally, a large garage to accommodate bicycles, sports equipment and handbikes.

Electrical system:

The operation of every element is made possible by a gas-free on-board system, including solar panels, lithium batteries and an integrated inverter.

Cognitive disability: the motorhome as a second home

The Mobility+ can also be an ideal solution for those living with a cognitive disability. For many people in this situation, routine and familiarity with surroundings are fundamental elements for wellbeing. The motorhome, with its recognisable spaces, becomes a safe and familiar environment, a true second home that allows you to go anywhere. This means being able to offer the possibility of experiencing other travel experiences: new places, new landscapes, new adventures, without giving up the comforts and solutions one is used to. A balance that the Mobility+ makes possible every day.
